Popping Out - 28th November 22

Lexi's Letter I really enjoyed doing this talk of an 8 image wordless story. At first I did struggle with using only 8 images, but in the end I love the way the story come out. I have tried to use a range of mark making skills through out it and have even used lino printing for the bricks ad some of the grass patches, although the grass lino prints did not go as planned, I think I have done a good job at blending it in. Although this was a challenging task, I would want to use this again in the future.

Riso Printing - 24th November 22

My Favourite Chair Planning for the Riso I knew that I wanted to use bold colours so after sketching out the chair a couple of times, I added colour. Knowing I wanted to add something ese, I then created little overlays of the options I chose, a pillow, a cat and book. I then took photos of the arrangements I liked,. To get the bold colours I wanted I chose to use the darkest option on most of the image. I believe this is one of my most successful workshops and would love to do it again. I even like the unintentional overlays and accidental texture on the legs of the chair.
